After a very successful Irish Open Championship last week the handicaps of several players have been changed. The biggest drop was for Fiachra Carroll, who drops from 14 to 8 after winning all 3 competitions he entered.

Danny Johnston and Fiachra Carroll competed in the Students Championships, representing Trinity. Danny reached the Semi-finals in the singles and together they reached the doubles Semi-finals also.

Croquet Canada have informed the WCF that they have not been able to secure adequate funding for the 2011 Womens Worlds GC Champs and have withdrawn their offer to host the event.

The 2010 TRINITY OPEN TOURNAMENT will be held in New Square on the 10th and 11th of July.

Ireland had their highest finish in this event since 2005. A new look Irish team had two Home International debutants at four and five in the form of Nathaniel Healy and Kieran Murphy and both were to win key matches on the way to Irelands second place.
